This Rudy Muck Academy model cornet was made pre WWII. With a serial number of 2xx (three digit), this is a very early example of a Rudy Muck Academy cornet. The Academy model was Rudy Muck's student cornet.
This cornet is intact but has some damage (please see pictures and ask any questions if necessary). There are a few minor dents on the lead pipe, and some significant dents on the pipe that runs into the #3 valve, and also the small tubes that run between the #1 and #2 valves, and the #2 and #3 valves. There is also a small dent by the post above the water key. The lacquer looks fairly good, with the exception of the lead pipe and some lacquer wear on the inside bell flare. The #1 and #2 valves move freely, but the #3 valve is missing a spring. The brace between the #2 valve and the bell throat is also missing. The slides are frozen as well.
The Bundy case is obviously not original to the instrument, but it's in fairly good condition and will keep this cornet protected nicely.
