KING "MASTER MODEL" CORNET IN SILVER, LARGE BORE ( VERY RARE)

Description

I JUST FINISHED RESTORING, and is ready to play this vintage "King, Master Model" in                                      LARGE  BORE. (VERY RARE, so I'm told)
The bell is hand engraved "Master Model" in Bb and comes with four (4) extra slides for A.
Inside the bell is gold-plated, also the 1st & 3rd slides, and the valve upper and lower caps ALL have
gold trimming/accents. One (1) slight indentation on the bell at the curve, outside. See pic # 12.
H.N. White Co, "King model #702 is triple silver-plated in a satin finish according to the King catalog.

This Cornet, circa 1913 and #28781
The two (2) King mouthpieces are original to the Cornet and are #5 and #41. I like #41
which gives a deep mellow sound to the horn.  Both MP"s are in very good condition.
The Coffin Case has had it's day and IS ONLY GOOD FOR SHIPPING PURPOSES.
That being said, if you wish I will ship in a slightly used RAVEL BAND CASE in good condition.
The inside of the Ravel case is a soft black felt material.
There is NOTHING out there in a King Cornet with extra slides, ready to play at this reasonable price.                                          I'm confident that you will be very happy with this cornet.
